Trim and manicure the cannabis flower
Ensure waste is appropriately stored either in the plant trash bins or the general/non-plant trash bins

Perform routine maintenance around the building, such as fixing damage to windows, doors, or walls

The Production Director will oversee the production of the back of the house in its entirety The Trim Manager, Packaging Leads, MIP Kitchen Manager and Lab Manager will report to the Production Director. In addition to these Manager and Lead roles, the Production Director will be directly responsible for managing the output of the MIP Kitchen as well as Lab. This position will report to the General Manager of Cultivation with a dotted line to the Compliance Manager. The Production Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily production of MIP products, as well as trimmed and packaged cannabis. Responsible for ensuring that all digital inventory is being completed accurately and timely by the zone mangers. This includes collecting and reporting daily nighty logs to senior management. Lastly, the Production Director will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing transport pickups as well as collaborating with and maintaining relationships with already established Bountiful Farms retail partners.
Daily coordination with the Packaging and Trim Leads to oversee the production of trimming and packaging of cannabis products
Daily coordination with Kitchen and Extraction Manager to oversee the production of marijuana infused products
Setting priority schedules one week in advance of what is trimmed and packaged based on batch size, strain demand, etc. as well as what is being produced and processed in the MIP Kitchen and Lab
Manage proper batch management as the production team works through different batches and strains over various product lines
Create training program for new back of the house hires as well as facilitate on-going training and development for current staff
Oversee the creation and print accuracy of product labels for each batch that will be packaged using test results from the Certificates of Analysis (COA) provided by third party testing facilities
Accountability for the team’s maintaining compliance with all state regulations, sanitation regulations, and safety standards in the production of all cannabis products produced by the company as set in the company's Policy and Procedure Manuals Maintain necessary data entry for all material, finished goods, and byproduct from the packaging process
Work in conjunction with the Compliance Manager and GM of Cultivation to oversee daily reports in the entirety of the back of the house. Trim, Packaging MIP and transport
Verifying transport manifests accuracy which includes but is not limited to products allocated for wholesale, collaboration with the Senior Management Team on fulfillment orders from various retail partners, managing all order fulfillment and ongoing communication with transport
Collecting and analyzing sell through reports from retail partners. and reporting relevant information to the GM of Cultivation, CFO as well as the CEO
Education and Experience
Commercial cannabis experience (minimum 2-3 years)

The Extraction Lead is responsible for the daily preparation of broad/full spectrum raw extracts from cannabis flower/trim and the processing and purification of extracts through winterization, distillation, and other purification techniques. The Extraction Lead will perform, supervise, and help optimize all daily tasks in the Laboratory and will assist the Director of Extraction by providing guidance and support to lab operations. Extraction Lead will work closely with/lead the manufacturing team to carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping for extraction runs, cannabis extraction using supercritical CO2, winterization/distillation/purification of crude oils, keeping detailed records, cleaning, and adhering to all regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
Execution of laboratory operations in accordance with all written SOP's and in accordance with local and state regulations
Performing specific extraction processes and refining concentrates into desired consistency
Performing distillations/chromatography on crude extracts
Recording of data, movement, and observations within logs/laboratory notebooks. Performing and troubleshooting routine and preventative maintenance on instruments
Operation and maintenance of equipment
Taking inventory of all materials including materials, supplies, consumables, spare parts for equipment etc
Monitoring supply of goods for extraction needs and coordinating with Director of Extraction to ensure ordering is taking place

Education and Experience
Prior extraction experience with multiple extraction formats highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science field with 1+ years of Laboratory experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn variety of systems
Familiar with extraction and separation principles as well as a basic understanding of thermodynamic principles and wet chemistry techniques
Distillation experience with spinning band or short path is a plus
Comfort working with compressed gases and with high pressure systems a plus
Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
