Job Description:

The Cannabis Coach is the front-line information specialist to our patients. We have high expectations of the Cannabis Coach to provide the highest-level patient experience delivered with care and respect. Education consultation is critical for our patients to make the most informed decision whether they are experienced cannabis consumers or new to the experience. The Cannabis Coach takes day-to-day guidance from the Dispensary Team Lead but reports directly to the Assistant Dispensary Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Greet patient and caregivers with a positive and welcoming attitude
Intimately understand the Bountiful Farms’ line of products to help our customers make the most informed decision
Understand the patient’s needs to assist them in choosing the delivery mechanism that best suits their needs
Advise patients as to the compliance and regulatory requirements in dispensing and consuming cannabis products
Provide a personal experience that is caring and nonjudgmental  Provide the basic understanding as to the lifecycle of growing, processing, and consuming cannabis safely to the patient


Knowledge:

Administrative - Knowledge of administrative tasks such as answering the phone, taking messages, etc.
Computer Software — Knowledge and proficiency in basic computer navigation, and Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Data Analysis – Knowledge and understanding of Metrc and Dutchie systems
Knowledge and understanding of retail cash transactions include cash and credit card transactions, calculating discounts, balancing a cash drawer, and cash safety.
Knowledge of the lifecycle of cannabis from growth to consumption.
Knowledge and understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Bountiful Farms’ products and dispensing of medical and/or adult use cannabis (as applicable for the location assigned).

Schedule Requirements:

PT employees scheduled, 20-24 hours/week. FT employees scheduled 36-40 hours/week.
Store hours are 10am-7pm Sunday – Wednesday and 10am-9pm Thursday – Saturday. Non-exempt position.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible with availability to cover days or shifts.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Proven experience delivering customer service; prior customer service experience in cannabis is a plus.
Experience with Metrc highly desirable.
Experience with Point-Of-Sale system Dutchie highly desirable.


Working Conditions

Physical Abilities:

Ability to walk, stand, or move freely on the dispensary floor for prolonged periods of time (up to 10 hours)
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds to assist in the vault to intake large deliveries
Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus
Ability to read small font on small labels to ensure compliance accuracy.
Motor coordination is required to coordinate eyes, hands, fingers, and feet accurately and handle precise movements.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Pre-Flower Technician assists in all aspects of cultivation operations including cloning, vegetative growth, flowering, transplanting, trellising, pruning, bottoming, toping, shaping, spacing and overall canopy management and maintenance.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED required

Meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to produce a high-quality product

A passion for cannabis

Able to demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving

Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission

Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission

Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Proficient in MS Excel and METRC

Minimum 1 year of cannabis experience or transferable knowledge

Reliable transportation to work


Working Conditions

Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift.

Frequent climbing, crawling, and reaching (including overhead reaching).

Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.

Constantly positions self throughout task at hand.

Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants.

Occasionally operates power hand tools and other cultivation machinery.

Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects.

Occasional lifting, positioning, or moving items up to 60 pounds.

This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment.

May work in dirty, dusty, or uncomfortable surroundings.
