JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pre-Flower Technician assists in all aspects of cultivation operations including cloning,
vegetative growth, flowering, transplanting, trellising, pruning, bottoming, toping, shaping,
spacing and overall canopy management and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Ensures that daily schedules and goals are met with precision.
• Observes and reports on plant health, watering needs, nutrient levels, and environmental
conditions.
• Assists in setting up and maintaining irrigation systems and environment control.
• Responsible for plant destruction practices that align with standard operating procedures
(SOPs) and legal requirements.
• Accurately logs and tracks all plants using the METRC system.
• Knowledgeable in METRC and CCC regulations.
• Ensures cultivation areas and equipment are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
• Promotes a positive culture centered on compassion, trust, integrity, innovation, and
individualism.
• Provides regular updates to management on plant status and operational challenges.
• Ensures each round of cloners is set up properly and clones are properly cut and taken care
of according to SOPs.
• Organizes and maintains the Clone room to ensure good airflow, proper lighting, proper
temperatures, pH etc. to maintain the best quality and numbers for cloners.

Education and Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to produce a high-quality product
• A passion for cannabis.
• Able to demonstrate sound judgement and problem solving.
• Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control
Commission.
• Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control
Commission.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and METRC
• Minimum 1 year of cannabis experience or transferable knowledge
• Reliable transportation to work.


Working Conditions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift.
• Frequent climbing, crawling, and reaching (including overhead reaching).
• Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual
dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
• Constantly positions self throughout task at hand.
• Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants.
• Occasionally operates power hand tools and other cultivation machinery.
• Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects.
• Occasional lifting, positioning, or moving items up to 60 pounds.
• This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
• May work in dirty, dusty, or uncomfortable surroundings.
