Director of Processing Operations
The Solventless Extraction Technician is responsible for performing hands-on tasks within the hash lab to support the safe and consistent production of high quality solventless cannabis concentrates. Under the direction of the Solventless Extraction Process and Quality Manager, the technician will operate equipment, follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain cleanliness and compliance within the lab environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate solventless lab equipment such as freeze dryers, rosin presses, washing vessels, and filtration tools in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols.
Assist in the preparation and processing of cannabis biomass into products such as bubble hash and live rosin, ensuring consistency and quality standards.
Support cleaning, sanitizing, and routine maintenance of lab equipment and workspaces to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
Track production batches, yields, and byproducts accurately using Metrc and internal data systems.
Monitor and report any issues with equipment, material inconsistencies, or potential contamination to the Solventless lab department leadership.
Practice safe lifting, proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and adherence to safety lab protocols always.
Collaborate with team members and receive instruction from the Solventless Extraction Lead and Manager to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Taking inventory of all materials including materials, supplies, consumables, spare parts for equipment, etc. and communicating with lab department leadership to help ensure ordering is taking place.
Assists with the accurate filling and packaging of concentrate products as instructed by lab department leadership.
Uphold state compliance and company regulations during all stages of processing and production. Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while contributing to a clean, efficient, and respectful work environment.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience working in a manufacturing lab, food production, or cannabis facility is preferred, but not required.
Basic familiarity with solventless extraction techniques, or an interest in learning about the process, is strongly preferred.
Prior experience with any extraction-related equipment such as Osprey, Harvest Right freeze fryers, or Low Temp Plates is a plus but not required.
Willingness to learn state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Bountiful Farms' products.
Experience in concentrates is a plus.
Knowledge:
Basic Lab Procedure - Understanding of basic lab safety practices, cleanliness standards and workflows.
Computer Software - Basic knowledge of basic computer navigation and Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow precise instructions and standard operating procedures.

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
Desire to produce high quality products with a passion for cannabis.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work weekends and holidays if needed.
Fluent in English language, both verbal and written.
Physical Abilities:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling requirements: Seldom (up to 2% of time) = 75 pounds;
Occasional (2-33% of time) = 26 to 50 pounds, Frequent (33%-66% of time) = up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and bend for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
Repetitive hand and arm motions for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
Both gross and fine manipulation to operate various tools and equipment with great accuracy
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and the ability to focus
Speaking or hearing - in person, by telephone, and in video meetings.
Regular operation of weighing scales, hash washing equipment and electronic screens.
Must be able to work in cold environments (~38°F) during wash cycles.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company safety policies
Workplace Environmental Conditions:
Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week
Some weekends and holidays may be required
Temperatures reach ~38°F during wash cycles
The person in this position will consistently work in an environment with possible exposure to dust
(kief), strong cannabis odors (terpenes), and some degree of cleaning product odors. Although systems
are in place to mitigate these factors, there is still exposure to some degree.
This position is in a laboratory setting with use of cleaning chemicals, mechanical equipment noise and
hazardous waste. Although systems are in place to mitigate these factors, there is still exposure to some

Fast-paced, highly regulated production environment requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict
compliance policies.
Schedule Requirements:
Four (4) days per week, Ten (10) hour days
General Hours are 7:00am-5:30pm
